Professor Brain Wright's book 'The Brilliance of Black Boys', asserts cultural responsiveness helps teachers and librarians to engage and incorporate identity development practices to better instill agency and voice in young Black boys.
Taking theory to practice, country singer Jimmie Allen, authors a picture book entitled 'My Voice is a Trumpet', to help kids recognize their voices can change the world.
